5 high schools, 5 vegetable gardens, 5 landscapers

5 high schools, 5 vegetable gardens, 5 landscapers

In partnership with the Rectorates of the Academies of Lille and Amiens, and in connection with the services of the Hauts-de-France Region, the association works on the creation of vegetable and educational gardens in high schools to raise young people’s awareness of the issues nurturing and “healthy eating”, short circuits and tomorrow’s societal challenges linked to climate change. The first experiments will be launched in five establishments in the five departments of the Region, with a first harvest of production expected in spring 2021. Supervised by teachers and landscapers, high school students will participate in all phases from conception to harvest of these vegetable gardens, designed according to the principles of sustainable agriculture on the model of permaculture. The crops should be used in canteens and refectories.
