In the pépinière des chiffonniers, waste no longer exists, it is transformed into an opportunity for the gardener, building material, seating or frames … Arranged by the group of landscapers ATER Environment, this alternative garden focuses on recycling, which is staged with several structures, all of which can be found in a market gardening environment. Connected by a trail, they question the place of waste in our landscapes and at the same time offer a toolbox of ideas to gardeners concerned about the environment. The walker passes through a greenhouse, whose canopy, built with used bottles and plastic bags, warms the growth of young shoots. Further on glass bottles collect rainwater that will later be used to water the vegetable beds. Drink cans have been used to construct two partitions, supporting climbing plants and fruiting plants: the aluminum is warmed by the sun, and helps the fruit to form. Finally, a low row of containers becomes a bench so that visitors can take a pause and enjoy the surrounding landscape.
