Requalification of the Îlot Saint-Louis > Atelier de l’Ours, 2020

In Grenay, the project to requalify the Saint-Louis block, in which the school Ferdinand Buisson is enrolled, led the members of Atelier de l’Ours to work with children and teachers on the design of a playful and nourishing garden along the esstablishment. From all these meetings led by the services of the municipality of Grenay, new uses have appeared, including the deployment of an observatory orchard or the possibility of gentle traffic with the creation of a pedestrian and tree-lined path between the primary school and kindergarten ; spaces to be shared which will soon be inaugurated thanks to the support of the Communauté d’agglomération de Lens-Liévin, of the Département du Pas-de-Calais, of the Région Hauts-de-France, and of the patronage of the Caisse des Dépôts and of EDF.
