Projects in Hauts-de-France

RÉGION HAUTS-DE-FRANCE

Mining area

In the mining area, in association with Odyssée Euralens 2019, which groups together numerous local players, including the communities of Lens-Liévin and Béthune-Bruay Artois Lys Romane, the Metropolitan Pole of Artois and the Pays d’Art et d’histoire of Lens-Liévin, participatory gardens will be created from 2019. Four landscaping teams will create four gardens with the collaboration and participation of the inhabitants of Lens (Plaine Molière), Grenay and Calonne-Ricouart. Meetings were started in March to ensure that progress would be made by the autumn of 2019; the ecological and food production issues are fully integrated in this approach with the citizens.

In this perspective, the Art & jardins | Hauts-de-France team brings a transformation of unknown or even secret gardens in Lille and its metropolis with the production of 6 landscape gardens and plastic art installations.
