As a continuation of the International Garden Festival in the Hortillonnages, Art & jardins | Hauts-de-France is proposing a reclamation of the banks of the Somme River through artistic and landscape creations. The gardens of the Somme Valley aim to highlight the riverbanks, emphasizing the incredible backbone the river has represented for its territory since antiquity: a mosaic of natural environments, the omnipresence of water, and a great diversity of fauna, flora, and biodiversity.<\/p>\n

Drawing on its professional expertise, the association was invited by the Somme Departmental Council to participate in the Vall\u00e9e de Somme, Vall\u00e9e Id\u00e9ale, and Un Pont une \u0152uvre projects by designing new artworks and gardens near the lock houses and various emblematic sites throughout the valley.<\/p>\n
