In 2019, lille3000 organises the 5th edition of ELDORADO! Faced with the problems of climate change and crisis, the simultaneous need to escape and return to basics, dream and fantasy, could the garden as a green island be considered as the path to a personal Eldorado, both participatory and collective ? In this perspective, the Art & jardins | Hauts-de-France team brings a transformation of unknown or even secret gardens in Lille and its metropolis with the production of 6 landscape gardens and plastic art installations.

As part of ELDORADO lille3000 (2019) and Lille World Design Capital (2020), Art & Gardens | Hauts-de-France and the Louvre-Lens Museum propose the creation of a perennial art work / garden to be installed on the Louvre-Lens site by the Collective Disaster team composed of landscapers, architects, graphic artists, visual artists, from Belgium, Spain, Italy, Greece, Australia, Russia …
