In 2004, Lille became the European Capital of Culture. An extraordinary event that profoundly changed the image of the City of Lille and the Lille Eurodistrict. lille3000 is sustaining and further developing this dynamic. After Lille Bombaysers (2006), Europe XXL (2009), FANTASTIC (2012) and RENAISSANCE (2015), lille3000 is presenting its fifth thematic edition: ELDORADO!

Featuring opening festivities, urban metamorphoses, major exhibitions at the Tripostal, the Gare Saint Sauveur and many partner cultural venues throughout Lille Métropole, shows, gardens, mapping, design, gastronomy, street art, debates and new events.

For this edition, lille3000 has opted for a Spring/Summer programme making use of outdoor spaces and giving visitors the opportunity to explore the region during the sunny season.

In addition to exhibitions and shows, ELDORADO, will continue to explore new worlds and will extend significantly throughout all of metropolitan Lille in partnership with Art & jardins – Hauts-de-France who will co-produce artistic and landscape creations in the public space.
